About Us
At Brooklyn Click + Connect, we believe in the power of LEGO to inspire creativity, promote problem-solving, and increase self-confidence. We celebrate and encourage creativity and outside-the-box thinking. We use an inclusive, strengths-based, and interest-based approach to learning and play, centering the interests and passions of students to promote engagement and social connection.
Jessie Hartman, Owner
Jessie is a local parent and a seasoned pediatric occupational therapist with over 16 years of experience working in public schools. She credits her children and students for introducing her to the immense power of LEGO as a modality for creative expression, problem-solving, and social connection.
After winning the runner-up prize in the 2023 Brooklyn Public Libary PowerUp Business Plan Competition for her LEGO business and running LEGO classes out of her home, she is thrilled to offer a dedicated space for LEGO enthusiasts to come together, inspire one another, and be awesome.
Christine Carmack, Assistant Teacher
Christine is a longtime LEGO fan with 6 years of experience working in childcare programs. She holds a great passion for uplifting children by empowering their creativity, autonomy, and sense of community. At Brooklyn Click + Connect, Christine is excited to help students reach the next level through the power of LEGO and see what incredible things can be built when we come together.
